The restaurant's setting is nice, with a view of the lake. The dishes were good but lacked something in the way of spices. As for the prices, given the quantity, it's clearly overpriced (compared with Luxembourg, which isn't particularly cheap). Especially the children's menu, which is nothing like a children's menu. It's the same types of dishes, but served slightly differently. Even the dessert was far too complex for children; a simple scoop of ice cream is more appropriate. The dishes were otherwise pretty. Too bad, because if you're staying on site, it's really convenient. The hotel was in a great location overlooking Lake Annecy. The garden area is beautifully landscaped and we really enjoyed sitting outside for a drink in the evening. We would have liked to use the hot tub but we thought €18 pp/hr was quite expensive. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and a good layout for staying in the hotel with our two children. There was a bit of a strange smell in our room and it was quite hot being at the very top of the building. The location was very good and we walked into Annecy. We also used the bus route in the evening which was easy to navigate. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to others. A beautiful location, top quality service, both in the restaurant and in the rooms. The location is perfect, and we'll be back with great pleasure. The barman makes stunning cocktails.
